Flexjet

Flexjet, established in 1995 as a division of Bombardier Aerospace, has evolved into a prominent provider of fractional jet ownership, leasing, and jet card services. In 2013, Directional Aviation, led by aviation entrepreneur Kenn Ricci, acquired Flexjet, marking a significant transition in the company's history.
Flexjet's operations encompass fractional jet ownership, leasing options, and jet card programs. Clients can purchase a fraction of an aircraft, lease jets, or utilize jet cards for flexible access to private aviation services.
The company's fleet is diverse, including light jets like the Embraer Phenom 300, midsize jets such as the Embraer Legacy 450/500 and Praetor 500/600, super-midsize jets like the Bombardier Challenger 300/350, large-cabin jets including the Gulfstream G450, and ultra-long-range jets such as the Gulfstream G650 ER. As of August 2024, Flexjet operated a total of 248 jets.
In February 2025, Flexjet placed a record-breaking order with Embraer for 182 business jets, including Praetor 600, Praetor 500, and Phenom 300E models, with an option for an additional 30 aircraft, valued at up to $7 billion.
By the end of 2023, Flexjet's workforce included over 1,300 pilots and more than 4,000 employees across Flexjet and its sister companies.
Flexjet operates globally, with regional offices in the United States and the United Kingdom, including locations in New York City, Boston, Dallas, and London, supporting its international clientele.
The company has been expanding its presence in Europe, recognizing the potential for growth in the private jet industry across the continent.
Under the leadership of CEO Michael Silvestro, Flexjet has achieved significant milestones, including the launch of the Red Label offering, which features dedicated flight crews and custom cabin interiors, and the expansion of international operations.
These initiatives reflect Flexjet's commitment to providing exceptional private aviation experiences worldwide.
