Envoy Air is a regional airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, operating under the American Eagle brand. With a fleet of approximately 150 aircraft, primarily consisting of Embraer E170 and E175 regional jets, Envoy serves over 150 daily routes, connecting smaller communities to major American Airlines hubs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The airline employs more than 2,000 pilots and operates multiple bases, including in Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, and Miami. Envoy Air was established in 1998 as a result of the merger of several regional carriers and has since grown into one of the largest regional airlines in the country. Minimum Monthly Guarantee
Lineholders: 72 hours
Reserves: 75 hours
Line Guarantee: 100% of scheduled flight hours on final award, including open time, reassignments, and JA. Excludes negative trip trades, drops, missed assignments, or CA’s rejection of aircraft.
Vacation Pay & Accrual
Lineholders: Pay for trips missed within vacation block (minimum 21 hours per week)
Reserves: Earn 3.9 hours per duty day
Vacation Accrual:Year 1: 1 week
Year 2: 2 weeks
Year 7: 3 weeks
Year 14: 4 weeks
Sick Pay & Accrual
Lineholders: Pay for trips missed
Reserves: Earn 3.9 hours per day
Sick Accrual: PTO bank includes both sick leave and vacation, accruing 2.5 hours per month.Maximum PTO accrual: 300 hours
Days Off
Lineholders: Minimum of 12 days off per month
Per Diem
Domestic: $1.95 per hour
International/Overnight (CDO): $5 per hour
Cancellation Pay
Greater of original or actual time.

Training
Location: Flight Academy in Irving, Texas
Duration: 9-10 weeks
Training Program: Advanced Qualification Program with computer-based learning, classroom lectures, procedure trainers, and full-motion simulators

Envoy Pilot Minimum Qualifications:
FAA Commercial Pilot Certification with multi-engine and instrument ratings
Total flight time minimums:
1,500 hours
1,250 hours – with qualifying 2- or 4-year aviation university program with 30 aviation hours
1,000 hours – with qualifying 2- or 4-year aviation university program with 60 aviation hours
750 hours – military flight training graduates
50 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing flight time (may be reduced to 25)
200 hours cross-country flight time
250 hours fixed-wing PIC
100 hours of cross-country as PIC
100 hours of night flying
75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated – 50 hours must be in airplanes)
25 hours of night PIC
Must be at least 21 years of age
Completed and passed ATP written
Current FAA First Class Medical
IFR Currency
FCC License
Ability to work in the U.S
Ability to travel into and out of the U.S. and to all cities/countries served by Envoy
