UPS Airlines is one of the largest cargo carriers globally, operating a fleet of over 500 aircraft, which includes a mix of Boeing 747s, 757s, 767s, Airbus A300s, and McDonnell Douglas MD-11s. With more than 1,900 daily flight segments, UPS serves a vast network that spans across 220 countries and territories, relying on its extensive hub-and-spoke model to optimize routes. Its main hub is located in Louisville, Kentucky, where the Worldport sorting facility, spanning 5.2 million square feet, handles an impressive 416,000 packages per hour. The company operates in multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia, and its pilots are based at hubs in various cities such as Louisville, Philadelphia, and Miami. UPS continues to expand its fleet and infrastructure to meet growing demand, especially in the e-commerce sector.
